Security Manager 

SIGA Technologies, Inc (www.siga.com) is seeking a knowledgeable, fully trained, and experienced security professional to serve as Security Manager at our Research & Development location in Corvallis, Oregon. The successful candidate will be dedicated solely to performing security-related duties. He or she will oversee all facets of security associated with Federal contracts to include monitoring and assisting in the development of security practices and procedures at all subcontractor facilities.  This position will report directly to SIGA's Chief Scientific Officer. 

Principal job duties will include: 

• working with SIGA's IT personnel to insure IT security meets Federal contracting requirements
• providing liaison with local law enforcement, and receiving and acting upon information regarding increased threats and criminal matters
• establishing procedures to ensure that the CCTV cameras and the DVR tapes that are generated at the SIGA facility are appropriately monitored
• implementing, updating, and managing all security policies and related Standard Operating Procedures at SIGA
• working closely with appropriate personnel from SIGA's supply chain manufacturing sites and shipping entities to ensure security requirements are met
